Annual billing, 10% off
Pay the Ubique fee annually and take 10% off. Salary and contributions are still invoiced monthly, because payroll runs monthly.
No set-up fee, no deposit for most countries
A few countries require a statutory deposit to cover severance. We tell you which before you sign, and it is refunded at offboarding.
Honest answers on pricing
Is Ubique expensive for a 3-person team?
Yes, for a very small team the Employer of Record fee is a real line item: £499 a month is around 10% on top of a £60,000 salary. If your first international hires are genuinely independent, consider the Contractor plan at £29 first, run the Misclassification Risk Check, and move to EOR when the role becomes long-term and full-time. Many customers start that way.
Why "from" £499? What makes it more?
£499 is the fee in the 40 countries Ubique runs with its own entities and payroll teams. In partner-served countries the fee is higher because we pay a local partner, and it varies by country. We show you the exact fee for each country before you sign, and we tell you which countries are which on the countries page.
What is a typical all-in cost?
Salary, plus employer contributions (from about 8% in the US to over 40% in France), plus the Ubique fee. For a £60,000 employee in the UK that is roughly £74,000 a year, or £6,200 a month. Ubique Calculator runs the numbers for any country.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The fee is flat and per person. What can surprise people is not a Ubique fee but a country rule: a 13th-month salary in Brazil or Argentina, a statutory deposit, or a mandatory benefit that is customary rather than legal. These show in your onboarding quote, not after.
Do you charge a percentage of salary?
No. Flat fees mean a senior hire costs the same to administer as a junior one. Foreign-exchange conversion for salaries is charged at cost plus a published margin, visible on each invoice.
What happens if I offboard someone mid-month?
You pay the fee for that month and nothing after. Severance and notice are governed by local law and passed through at cost. We give you the figure before you decide.
Can I mix plans?
Yes, and most customers do. Contractors, EOR employees and your own entities all sit in one dashboard with one monthly invoice. Converting a contractor to an EOR employee is a few clicks and the fee changes from the next billing cycle.
How do you bill?
One monthly invoice in GBP, EUR or USD covering fees, salaries and contributions, due 5 business days before payroll. Annual plans are invoiced for the fee only. Enterprise customers can be invoiced per entity.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Monthly plans have no minimum term beyond the local notice period of the people you employ. Annual plans run for 12 months.
