Twenty countries, one PDF each, reviewed every quarter
Each guide covers what it costs to employ someone, how long notice and probation run, what leave is mandatory, which benefits you must provide, and the documents you need before day one. Written and reviewed by the team that runs the country.

One email, all guides, plus a note each quarter when a guide changes. No calls unless you ask for one.
The same twelve pages for every country
So you can read Germany and Brazil side by side and find the same answer in the same place.
Employer cost
Social contributions, mandatory insurances, payroll taxes and the typical total on top of gross salary.
Contract and probation
Fixed-term rules, probation limits, working time, what must be in writing and in which language.
Leave and holidays
Annual leave, public holidays, sick pay, parental leave and who pays for each.
Ending employment
Notice periods, severance formulas, protected categories and the realistic timeline.
Plus: mandatory benefits, 13th salary where it applies, payroll calendar, onboarding documents and a one-page summary for your CFO.
Choose your country
Each download opens the country page, where the guide sits alongside the live figures. Ubique-run means we operate our own entity and payroll team there. Partner means a vetted local partner does, and timelines are a little longer.

A guide is only useful if it is right this quarter
Employment rules change constantly: a minimum wage in January, a contribution ceiling in April, a new leave entitlement after an election. Every guide carries its review date on the first page, and each one is owned by a named person on the local team or at the partner.
When a rule changes, the dashboard updates first, with the effective date and what Ubique is doing about it. The guide follows at the next quarterly review, or sooner if the change is large. If you downloaded a guide more than a quarter ago, email hello@ubiquehq.co.uk and we will tell you what moved.
Reviewed by the team that runs the country
In the 40 countries Ubique operates directly, our own payroll and legal staff sign off every guide. Elsewhere the partner does, and we check it.
Same numbers as the Calculator
The contribution rates in the PDF are the ones Ubique Calculator uses, so your estimate and your reading match.
Not legal advice
The guides are a starting point. For a specific situation, your account manager can put you in front of the local team.
